Rdio adds options for four, five-member accounts in family subscriptions

Rdio has updated its family subscription plans to allow for up to five members to have Rdio Unlimited access in a single account. Two-member and three-member accounts for the streaming music service still cost $18 and $23 respectively, writes The Next Web, with the new four-user plan now going for $28, and the maximum five-member version priced at $33 per month.

Samsung launches Jay-Z app ahead of million album giveaway

Samsung has released its previously-announced app in association with Jay-Z. The Magna Carta app [Google Play], free to users of the Galaxy S 4, Galaxy S III, and Galaxy Note II, will provide the first one million users a free copy of Jay-Z's new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, 72 hours before the July 7th general release. The free albums form part of a global marketing deal between Samsung and Jay-Z, which is reportedly worth $20 million.
