Ascend W2 shown at Mobile Asia Expo with China Mobile TD-LTE

The rumored Huawei Ascend W2 has been confirmed by the company, after making an appearance at the Mobile Asia Expo. Appearing on the Huawei stand, the Ascend W2 is a low-cost Windows Phone 8 device, complete with a 4.3-inch WVGA IPS display, a range of three colors, and a styling reminiscent of the Nokia Lumia range.

Images of the phone and of the accompanying specifications sheet, taken by Winp.cn, shows the Ascend W2 as measuring 9.9mm (0.38-inch) thick, with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 running at 1.4GHz, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage, and TD-LTE connectivity through China Mobile.

Shown in black, red, and yellow, Huawei has not revealed when it will be launching the Ascend W2, though it is though to be soon. It is expected to cost less than $300 at launch.
