TrendNet deploys two-bay TN-200 network attached storage device

Cross-platform solution provides file, iTunes, media storage

Networking hardware vendor TrendNet today announced the availability of the dual-bay TN-200 NAS Media Server Enclosure, aimed at being a digital media and file storage hub for the home or small office. The TN-200 accepts two 3.5-inch user-supplied SATA hard drives for a total potential storage capacity of up to 8TB (terabytes).

DLNA-certified Smart TVs, media players, and game consoles can automatically find and play multiple HD videos and music from the TN-200 simultaneously. An iTunes server provides the ability to share a massive iTunes library across a network. Additional storage can be added using an external USB share port. A Gigabit Ethernet port is provided for network connectivity.

The TN-200 network attached storage device is currently available, and retails for $170.
