Rumored Motorola device appears, screen size remains unconfirmed

The Motorola X Phone has reportedly appeared in testing, using Sprint's 4G LTE network. The often-rumored device from the Google-owned phone manufacturer is allegedly shown in a photograph leaked by someone involved in the tests, and appears to be markedly different in appearance to the rendered image seen in March.

The Moto X image, sent to Phone Arena with the model number XT1056, shows a rather generic-looking handset compared to the render. Despite being a clear shot, there are no other items in the picture that can be used to distinguish the actual size of the screen, but the report estimates it as between a 4.5-inch or 4.7-inch display.

Aside from the screen size and physical styling, the Motorola X is thought to be running on Android 4.2.2 and have a 1.7GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a 720p resolution.
