Nokia providing up to $300 for trade-ins after purchase of Lumia

Nokia is offering customers in the US prepaid Visa cards in exchange for trading in their old phone when buying a new Lumia with Windows Phone 8 installed. The program will offer up to $300 for a smartphone, depending on the model and quality of handset, with the prepaid card sent to claimants after their existing smartphone has been sent off for processing.

Sprint rumored to run 'buy one, get one free' promotion

Sprint will apparently offer the Samsung Galaxy S4 as a "buy one, get one free" offer in the future, according to a rumor. The post by the evleaks Twitter account offers little in the way of detail to the offer, such as when or what terms it has, except that it was an "upcoming Sprint promo." The offer could be in retaliation to a similar promotion being run by AT&T, where customers buying a Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Active or Galaxy Note II would get $200 off a Galaxy Note 8.0 or Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
