41-megapixel smartphone shown with new camera app, AT&T branding

An image of the Nokia Lumia 1020 has allegedly appeared online in a leak. The promotional image for the Nokia smartphone, reportedly the official name for the long-rumored Nokia EOS with the 41-megapixel camera, comes ahead of a Nokia media event on July 11th where it offers "41 million reasons" to watch a live video stream.

The leak by the evleaks Twitter account has a few notable aspects, aside from the general overall appearance of the device. Three parts of the image show that it will be appearing on AT&T in the US at first, which correlates with a rumor that it was in testing with the carrier last month. One app is listed as the Nokia Pro Cam, which could be an updated version of the Nokia Smart Camera app built with the high-resolution camera in mind.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 is rumored to have a 4.5-inch, 720p OLED display, running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a Xenon flash, 32GB of storage, wireless charging, and a 2,000mAh battery.
