Bridge camera has 35mm equivalent zoom of 580mm lens
Samsung has shown off a new bridge camera that succeeds from the similar WB100 released last year, but replaces the 16-megapixel sensor with a 20.2-megapixel version. While it updates the sensor, the WB110 manages to retain the same styling as its predecessor, as well as the 26x optical zoom that gives a 35mm equivalent zooming range of between 22.3mm and 580mm.
Offering an ISO range of between 20 and 3,200, the WB110 can record MP4 video at 1280x720-resolution at 30 frames per second, has a pop-up flash on the top, and a 3-inch hVGA display on the back, writes Engadget. While it does not have the Android-powered features of the Galaxy NX, it still manages to have a Smart Auto mode and a Live Panorama option.
Neither the release date nor potential pricing has been revealed for the WB110.
