Sennheiser adds compact on-ear model to Momentum lineup

Sennheiser has added a new on-ear model to its Momentum range. The new headphones are more compact and come in a choice of four colors. As with many headphone models with a built-in line mic and remote control, they are designed to work with Apple's mobile product line. While the remote function won't work with other devices, the headphones themselves are compatible with any device.

Sennheiser claims the new on-ear Momentum range was developed by a 'team of international design experts and trend scouts.' However, despite the emphasis on style, Sennheiser has built in a high-performance transducer for a richer and more detailed sound that has a 'slight bass emphasis.' The new headphones incorporate a headband and earpads covered in Alcantara, which is a material of choice in high-end cars and boats. The lightweight sliders are made from brushed stainless steel adding to the premium feel for the lineup.

The Sennheiser on-ear Momentum range is available now in the UK (170), with stateside pricing and availability to come. They are available in blue, pink, green and cream colors.
