Moto X could be heading to Verizon, Rogers in late-August launch

Internal memos provide possible dates for Moto X, HTC One, LG Exalt on Verizon

Google may be looking towards releasing the Motorola Moto X sometime next month, according to allegedly leaked internal memos. Supposed documents from inside Verizon in the US and Canadian carrier Rogers claim that the rumored smartphone will appear in August, with the LG Exalt and the HTC One also making an appearance on Verizon.

The memo picked up by Mobilesyrup mentions that Rogers will have an exclusive on the Moto X in the country, that it will work on its LTE Max network, and a launch date sometime in August. The Verizon memo passed to PhoneArena claims that the Moto X would be made available on the 23rd of August, while the HTC One will appear on the 1st of the month. The LG Exalt is listed to launch on Verizon on July 25th.

Due to the nature of the leaks, it isn't guaranteed that the devices will launch at those times, if at all, but in the Moto X's case, Google has already made a large advertising buy in a number of prominent newspapers, suggesting that a launch is sooner rather than later, and making the August date even more probable.
