Twitter for Windows 8 adds list support, multiple user accounts

Twitter for Windows 8 has received some updates, alongside some bug fixes. The Metro-style app update, available through the Windows Store, now allows for users to sign into the microblogging service with multiple accounts, adds support for viewing lists of Twitter accounts, and allows for user profiles and lists to be pinned directly onto the Windows 8 Start screen.

Google adds Docs shortcuts to desktop in new Google Drive installer

Google is attempting to increase the use of the company's productivity tools by providing desktop shortcuts. Previously available as shortcuts in the Chrome App Launcher, new installations of Google Drive for Windows will add the shortcuts for Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides starting from next week, according to the Google Drive Google+ page.
