Schosche's compact sync cables available in 6 colors

Scosche Industries announced today its release of new retractable charge and sync cables, boltBOX and microBOX, for Lightning and Android devices. The cables are available in blue, green, pink, red, black and white, providing consumers with aesthetic choice much like one can select a case for their mobile device. Both boltBOX and microBOX feature a three-foot-long cable with a magnetic locking connector that easily extends and retracts by pulling on both ends simultaneously. The compact cable is held within an enclosure the size of a small matchbox, allowing for portability. The boltBOX and microBOX are priced at $25 and $15, respectively.

50 Cent brand launches wireless speakers

Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson's audio headphone and accessories brand, SMS Audio, announced the availability of the SYNC by 50 Wireless Speaker. Using Bluetooth 4.0 aptX technology, omni-directional 3D stereo sound and 50mm drivers, the speakers offer clear audio with optimal portability. Users are provided with five pre-tuned EQ settings, as well as soft touch sensor control keys and Near Field Communication (NFC) capacity. The rechargeable speaker includes a lithium-ion battery, micro USB charging cable, soft cleaning cloth and carrying case. The SYNC by 50 Wireless Speaker is available for pre-order online in shadow black for $200, with shipping beginning August 16, 2013.
