Beacon Audio creates Kickstarter project to create Bluetooth Speaker

The Blazar Project, Beacon Audio's Kickstarter campaign to create an aluminum Bluetooth speaker, has successfully reached its target funding goal with 24 days still remaining. The Blazar Bluetooth speaker is capable of pairing with another for stereo sound, as well as with the user's smartphone for calls. The speaker intends to optimize low-end sound in a compact design, with two 50ml drivers and a 65ml bass radiator. Holding an up to 12-hour charge, the Blazar will be universally compatible as to accommodate all smartphones, tablets, laptops and other equipment that is equipped with Bluetooth. Delivery of limited-edition Blazar speakers and branded goods for those who have backed the campaign is slated for September 2013.
