StarTech debuts universal USB 3.0 video, networking, audio dock

Dual-display video, Gigabit Ethernet supported by new device

Connectivity specialist StarTech has announced the release of a new USB 3.0 Laptop Docking Station (USB3SDOCKHDV), which enables users to add HDMI and DVI-D, or HDMI and VGA dual video, as well as audio and Gigabit Ethernet connections to a Windows-based laptop through a single USB 3.0 port.

Features of the USB3SDOCKHDV USB 3.0 laptop docking station include dual display connectivity with HDMI and DVI-D or HDMI and VGA, additional USB 3.0 hub ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port, speaker and microphone support by way of 3.5mm stereo mini-jacks, and a Kensington security slot.

StarTech.com's USB3SDOCKHDV Laptop Docking Station retails for $172. The dock is available now at a wide range of retailers.
