Samsung confirms availability dates for ATIV Book 9 Plus, ATIV Tab 3

Samsung has revealed it will be shipping the ATIV Book 9 Plus and the ATIV Tab 3 in the United States in the near future. TheATIV Book 9 Plus, spotted at B&H earlier this week, will be open to preorder fropm August 18th for $1,400 with shipping expected to take place not long after, while the ATIV Tab 3 will be going on sale on September 1st for $700 bundled with a Bluetooth keyboard cover and S Pen.

The Book 9 Plus being shipped uses a 13.3-inch 3200x1800-resolution 10-point multitouch display, and houses a Intel Core i5 Haswell processor running at 1.6GHz, 4GB of RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4400, and a 128GB SSD for storage. Using a battery said to last up to 7.5 hours, it also has a 720p webcam, mini VGA, Micro HDMI, two USB 3.0 ports, and a card reader.

The ATIV Tab 3 opts for a 10.1-inch, 1366x768 display with 5-point multitouch and S Pen controls. Running Windows 8, it has an Intel Atom processor running at 1.8GHz, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of SSD storage, a rear 2-megapixel camera, and a 720p front-facing version. Running for a similar 7 hours, the 1.28-pound device has a micro HDMI port, a micro USB 2.0 socket, and is preloaded with Office Home & Student.
