First physical evidence to support new tech
A newly-leaked top-rear panel for the iPhone 5S appears to support the notion that the device will have a dual-LED flash. While similar to an equivalent part for the iPhone 5, the 5S component has an elongated, pill-shaped hole near the ones for the lens and rear microphone. The leak may represent the first physical evidence that Apple is upgrading to a dual-LED format.
A better camera is expected to be one of the main features of the 5S, including not just dual LEDs but a 12-megapixel image sensor. When shooting, the phone may support options like better HDR and 120fps video. The device may separately get a faster processor, a fingerprint sensor, and/or an NFC chip.
