The real-time communications addition is accompanied by updates to its Reader and Reading list, the ability to share Firefox tabs with other NFC-enabled Android smartphones by bumping them together, a Quickshare menu to pass content to various social networks and communications systems, and language support for Catalan-Spanish, British-English, and Swedish. Desktop versions also gain a Browser Console for developers.

LG G2 launch event in South Korea goes awry, 20 injured

A promotional event for the LG G2's launch in South Korea has left 20 people injured. Organizers released balloons loaded with vouchers for a free LG G2, writes the Korea Times, but members of the nearby crowd used BB guns and other implements to shoot at the balloons, hospitalizing some attendees. LG has since canceled similar events set to take place across the country, and plans to compensate those injured in the event.
