Box for Android introduces updates feed, offline support, multiple accounts

Cloud storage service Box has updated its Android app with a number of changes. The new updates feed in version 2.2 includes a document preview area for recently-uploaded items as well as recent activity, something viewable in the new resizable home screen widget, while offline file support has been enhanced. Multiple accounts can now be accessed in the same app, and a new navigation drawer and viewing options are also included.

Comcast Internet Essentials opened to more low-income users, speeds increased

Comcast has relaunched its Internet Essentials program for low-income families and individuals. The $10 service, now in its third year, will expand eligibility to include private, cyberschool, and home-schooled students, streamline the enrolment process, and increased the speed of the service to a maximum of 5Mbps downstream and up to 1Mbps upstream. Since its launch, Comcast Internet Essentials has helped more than 220,000 families, and an estimated 900,000 individuals by providing Internet access.
