Keeper unveils 'Keeper for Groups' password management suite

updated 08:49 pm EDT, Tue August 13, 2013

Service covers unlimited cloud storage of passwords and critical info

Password security and management software developers Keeper have launched the Keeper for Groups software suite. The new application allows private information sharing between networks of business groups, teams, social organizations, or families. Keeper is available on all major smartphones, tablets and computers including iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, PC, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone.

Keeper protects accounts by creating and storing high-strength, encrypted passwords. Additionally, the Keeper Web App is included with any Keeper paid subscription, which gives users unrestricted access to personal data from all of the user's devices using a web browser. The Keeper Web App works with a browser extension which auto-fills login credentials to favorite websites, and remembers new website credentials.

Other features in the Keeper for Groups suite include allowing users to quickly and securely share individual records with other Keeper users while controlling view and edit permissions, and access to the Keeper vault from any web browser with the Keeper web app and browser extensions. Users and access are manageable through the admin console, with all connections encrypted with the 256-bit AES standard.

The Keeper for Groups base plan is priced at $60 per year and covers five users. Additional users can be added for $15 per year. Pricing includes both unlimited devices and secure cloud storage for all users in the group.
