LTE-equipped smartphone could launch on AT&T on August 23rd
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 could still be making its way to AT&T in the future, according to a new leak. An image showing the large smartphone, complete with blue color scheme and AT&T branding on the back, suggests that the brief appearance of the device with compatible LTE radios at the FCC in June was leading to a full release.
The render from serial leaker @evleak's Twitter account provides little in the way of clues as to the Galaxy Mega 6.3's launch, aside from it showing August 23rd as the date on its front-screen calendar, a date that could end up being when the carrier reveals the smartphone.
The Galaxy Mega 6.3 has a 720p LCD display, and is powered by a dual-core 1.7GHz processor with 1.5GB of RAM, a rear 8-megapixel camera supported by a lower-resolution front-facing version, and a choice of 8GB and 16GB storage capacities. Support for Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and MHL are also included.
