Following a leak on the weekend, Samsung has confirmed that the 6.3-inch model of the Galaxy Mega with LTE connectivity will be going on sale in the United States later this month. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 will be available on AT&T, Sprint, and US Cellular, with the former also stating it will be on sale through the carrier on August 23rd.

Offering a large LCD screen at a 720p resolution, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 has a dual-core processor running at 1.7GHz with 1.5Gb of RAM, with a rear 8-megapixel camera and a 1.9-megapixel version on the front. Running on Android 4.2.2, the Mega can take up to 64GB of microSD storage, includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and GPS, and receives power from the removable 3,200mAh battery.

Available in black and white color options, AT&T is touting the Galaxy Mega 6.3 at $150 on a two-year commitment, or $24 per month under AT&T Next. Sprint and US Cellular have yet to reveal exact release dates and pricing information.
