Designed for 60-inch HDTVs, includes vacuum tubes for warmer sounds
Samsung has shown off a new soundbar aimed at those with larger television sets. The HW-F850, known as the AirTrack F850, offers a total of 350 Watts of power, an increase of 40 Watts from the preceding F750, while its physical size makes it more suitable for HDTVs measuring 60 inches, rather than smaller sets covered by other models.
Employing vacuum tubes in its construction for warmer sounds, the F850 includes NFC and Bluetooth connectivity for connection to smartphones, reports the Home Theater Forum. Included 3D Sound Plus will synchronize sound to match the motion and depth of images shown on the television, while SoundShare will apparently help with synchronizing the wireless soundbar to the television.
Samsung will be shipping the AirTrack HW-F850 this September, at a cost of $1,200.
