Slide-out QWERTY keyboard hides behind touted 4-inch WVGA screen
Verizon will be launching a new Android smartphone with a slide-out hardware QWERTY keyboard, according to a new leak. The LG Enact is said to be "days away on Verizon," with a new photograph showing it to have four capacitive buttons below the display and compatibility with the carrier's 4G LTE network, along with the keyboard.
The image from serial leaker @evleaks also claims it to have a WVGA (800x480) display measuring four inches, with a five-megapixel camera on the rear. While light on specifications, the leak does show that the keyboard section of the Enact will have a fairly considerable border, matching the same dimensions of the screen layer. Though it does not seem to show the thickness of the device, the sliding keyboard part is likely to double it in comparison to modern devices.
More details for the LG Enact could be revealed in the near future, if the expected launch timing is correct.
