TheQ 5MP compact camera includes social sharing focus, 3G connection
Stockholm-based Q Lifestyle has revealed a new compact camera with a social focus. The $199 TheQ has a 5-megapixel sensor with a 24mm wide-angle lens and a F2.4 aperture, with a manual focus lens, a built-in ring flash, 2GB of storage, and a 2.7-inch display. Waterproof to three feet, it has a built-in 3G connection that its one-button upload can use to share to social networks, as well as sending to the theQ LAB personal photo archive. Available in a range of nine colors, TheQ is available to pre-order with shipping expected to take place in mid-September.
Google Now gains car rental, concert ticket cards on Android
Google has updated Google Now in the Android Google Search app with a set of new cards. Car rentals and concert ticket cards are introduced, along with ones with improved public transit information, commute sharing options, increased TV show information, and NCAA football scores. A new "remind me" button next to search results for musicians, actors, and TV shows will also bring up Google Now reminders in the future for any of their future book, songs, movies, TV show appearances or episodes.
