New printer capable of 6000x1200 11.5x17-inch duplex printing

Printing technology company Brother today announced the launch of the MFC-J6920dw, the flagship model of its new Business Smart Pro series of inkjet all-in-one devices for small- to medium-sized businesses. The MFC-J6920dw offers dual paper trays for a larger paper capacity, as well as higher ink capacity and print speeds of up to 22 pages per minute in black and 20 pages per minute in color.

The printer sports a 3.7-inch TouchScreen Display with touch panel, and the panel illuminates only the keys needed for operation. Connectivity is provided by 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi as well as wired Ethernet. Up to 11x17-inch documents can be duplex-printed. Maximum resolution is 6000x1200DPI

Mobile connectivity is provided by AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Brother iPrint&Scan, Wi-Fi Direct and Cortado Workplace compatibility. Near Field Communication (NFC) printing and scanning allows users to "touch to connect" a NFC-capable mobile device to the all-in-one for direct printing or scanning without connecting to a wireless network.

The printer is available later this month, for a retail price of $299.
