Hinge rotates 70 degrees, nearly flat

HP has introduced the Recline series of all-in-one computers available in 23- and 27-inch configurations. A unique hinge mechanism is designed to bring the touchscreen display lower and closer to the user. When it is lowered by 70 degrees to a nearly flat position, the bottom of the screen extends out over the edge of a desk.

Buyers will be able to choose from a range of Intel's fourth-generation Core-series processors, Nvidia discrete graphics and up to 16GB of RAM. The 23-inch model is also available in a Beats Audio edition featuring upgraded speakers and black and red accents.

The Recline23 will be available on September 6 with prices starting at $999, while the Beats edition is slated for November with a $1099 entry price. The Recline27 is also available on the 6th with a $1399 price tag for the entry model.
