Neutrino Thunder D3 expected for release by end of September

Akitio announced its upcoming release of its latest external storage product, the Neutrino Thunder D3. With Thunderbolt and USB 3.0 ports, the Thunder D3 is set to be available by the end of September. The two-bay unit is designed to hold 2.5-inch hard drives or SSDs with a drive height of up to 15mm, enabling greater versatility than other form factor enclosures. The Thunder D3 will be available in capacities up to 4TB, and upon release can be purchased online from Akitio, Amazon and retail outlets, though pricing has not yet been announced. For reference, however, the similar Thunder Duo enclosure starts at $300 with no drives.

TouchTone wireless speaker announced by id America

Electronics maker id America has announced its latest digital accessory, TouchTone, a portable Bluetooth wireless speaker and speakerphone. Available in nine colors, the TouchTone connects with mobile phones, computer, tablets, iPods or any other Bluetooth device, allowing users to stream and share music. TouchTone produces up to four hours of sound, with a 33 feet wireless range. Equipped with a built-in microphone, the TouchTone facilitates conference calling as well. Its exterior is composed of rubber and stainless steel, along with integrated touch technology that creates a smooth control interface. Priced at $80, TouchTone can be purchased at idamerciany.com.

    Why are you calling it "memory storage"? It is a *storage* box... enough people have trouble confusing RAM and "Storage" that they don't need the media confusing the issue.
