Three new 128GB USB 3.0 drives added to Supersonic 'family'

Storage and mobile accessories company Patriot has announced an expansion of its Supersonic line, with the addition of three new 128GB USB 3.0 flash drives. The Supersonic RAGE XT, Supersonic Boost XT 128GB, and Supersonic Pulse 128GB, along with the pre-existing products in the Supersonic line, offer plug-and-play compatibility with most Windows platforms, Linux 2.4 and later, and Mac OS X. The RAGE XT provides read speeds of up to 180MB per second, and a slider-case. The Boost XT provides transfer speeds of up to 150MB/s, and offers a water-resistant rubberized design. The Pulse 128GB rates transfer speeds of up to 120MB/s, and has an all-metal housing. Patriot's memory products are available online and in select retail stores.

Canon USA announces new single-focal-length Cinema prime lens

Canon USA has announced its new CN-E35mm T1.5 L F single-focal-length Cinema prime lens, designed for large-format, single-sensor digital cinematography cameras employing Super 35mm or full-frame 35mm imagers. The sixth product in Canon's line of compact EF-mount Cinema prime lenses, the CN-E35mm lens is due to be available in December 2013, for $5,200.
