Special edition aimed at cooks

Sony has introduced a special "Kitchen Edition" of its 10.1-inch Xperia Z tablet. The new offering, which was spotted by Engadget, ships with an iGrill wireless meat thermometer, pre-loaded food apps and videos, and a foldable stand. The company boasts that its waterproof tablet can be rinsed off under fresh water or even submerged for a half hour.

Possible LG Nexus device appears at FCC

Documents posted by the Federal Communications Commission appear to show a redesigned version of LG's G2 handset. The filing appears to be related to the Verizon edition, however the case appears to have been completely redesigned, as noted by PhoneScoop. The changes have led to speculation that the device may be an upcoming Google Nexus refresh based on the same platform
