Users granted 10GB of additional storage when using QuickOffice
Google today has made its acquired QuickOffice suite free for both the iOS and Android platforms. The package allows users to modify Microsoft Office documents on a wide array of mobile devices. The app is integrated with the recently-upgraded Google Drive, with users signing into Google Drive through the QuickOffice app being granted 10GB of extra storage for two years.
Users that have already purchased the app also qualify for the 10GB of storage, when they sign in to Google Drive through the updated version of the app before September 26. Users are not awarded the extra storage immediately, but the account should be credited within "the next few weeks."
QuickOffice is available on both Google Play, and the iOS App Store.
