Valve teases possible Steam Box launch with countdown timer

Valve Software is hinting at a new launch for helping gamers play in the living room. Microsoft warns Xbox One customers to keep console horizontal

Microsoft has warned gamers not to place the incoming Xbox One vertically, as it could damage the console. Senior director of product management and planning for Xbox Albert Panello told GameSpot that it "wouldn't be a cooling problem, we just didn't design the drive for vertical. Panello also revealed that approximately 80 percent of Xbox 360 owners lay their console horizontally rather than standing it on one end.
