Google improves commenting system for YouTube

Google has introduced a new commenting system for YouTube videos. Users can also choose to add private comments within circles, while moderation tools include new options for automatic filtering.

Microsoft releases Skype update for Android devices

Microsoft has updated its Skype app (free, Google Play) for Android devices. The latest version brings a new framework for ads, while enabling the screen to remain active as a call is attempting to connect. Under-the-hood improvements are said to include enhanced Wi-Fi reliability and other minor bug fixes.
