iOS 7.0.2 update fixes lockscreen bypass bug

First iOS 7 update for devices other than iPhone 5s, 5c

Apple has released a minor iOS update, v7.0.2. The patch copes exclusively with lockscreen issues, above all one that let people bypass iOS' passcode protection. Apple also notes that it has restored a Greek keyboard option for entering passcodes.

The update is Apple's second since the launch of iOS 7 on September 18th. On the 20th Apple posted a special v7.0.1 release for buyers of the iPhone 5s and 5c, although it focused on a problem with the 5s' Touch ID system. 7.0.2 is the first post-7.0 update to apply to owners of other devices as well. iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch owners can download it through iTunes or as an over-the-air update.
