Samsung launches free Pen.Up drawing app for Galaxy Note 3, II

Samsung has introduced a new drawing app with social sharing made for the Galaxy Note 3. Pen.Up is billed as a "community" for Note users to view S Pen drawings by other users, along with the option to submit their own to the gallery for community viewing. Preloaded onto the Galaxy Note 3, Samsung is also making it available as a free download to Galaxy Note II users through Google Play.

Xbox One launch day firmware update to take up to 20 minutes to download

New owners of the Xbox One will have to wait for some time after set-up of the console before being able to play it at launch, due to a hefty firmware update. Xbox One chief platform architect Marc Whitten speaking to IGN advised that the day one update will take "between 15 and 20 minutes for most users" to complete, but didn't explain if the long download time will be due to busy servers or a large file size.
