HTC One gains Android 4.3 on Sprint, Verizon and AT&T to follow
Owners of the HTC One on Sprint in the United States will now be able to upgrade their device to Android 4.3. The operating system, having already appeared on unlocked versions, is said by Android Beat to be heading to other US carriers such as AT&T and Verizon by the end of October, at roughly the same time as updates for french carrier SFR's customers.
Tesco shifts 35,000 budget Hudl tablets in UK within two days of launch
British retailer Tesco has sold 35,000 units of its own-branded £119 ($193) tablet in the first two days since its launch in the UK earlier this week. The Hudl, a 7-inch tablet with stock Android, a 1440x900 display, and preloaded with apps for Tesco's digital services, has apparently sold better than expected, with Tesco CEO Philip Clarke telling Retail Week that it expects to be short on stock of the device next week.
