AT&T retains top spot among US carriers

Apple and the iPhone have topped JD Power's smartphone satisfaction study for the 10th time in five years, according to a newly-released chart. With a score of 856, the company beats out rivals like Nokia (840), Samsung (839), and and HTC (829). AT&T remains the US carrier with the most overall customer satisfaction, garnering a score of 843; trailing behind are Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Among iPhone users, though, Verizon is the top carrier.

Apple is the preferred phone maker among AT&T and Verizon subscribers. Samsung does better at T-Mobile and Sprint. Both Apple and Samsung, however, score roughly the carrier average on each network they rank first on.

Sprint subscribers notably appear to be the most likely to buy a phone based on features. T-Mobile subscribers are most likely to pick cost as a deciding factor.

Consumer Reports, stick that in your butt and smoke it. Biased based reporting from a bunch of people who don't even understand what they are looking at even when it is in front of them. JD Powers knows and understands what they are looking at. Top smart phone on the market again for obvious reasons and to many to list.
