updated 03:59 pm EDT, Tue October 22, 2013

Should improve performance, add Mavericks support

Apple has started seeding a beta of iTunes 11.1.2 to employees, a leak indicates. The update will add full compatibility with OS X Mavericks, as well as Arabic and Hebrew language support. For all users, the code should boost performance and stability.

There is no word yet on when v11.1.2 will reach the public. Distribution to workers suggests that the software is well into development however, and Mavericks is now available, making compatibility improvements urgent.
