8MP camera, 2560x1600 display touted in upcoming Google tablet

New specifications for what is believed to be the Nexus 10 have allegedly leaked, with details apparently appearing on the Google Play store before being removed again, just as it did for the Nexus 5. The display of the Nexus 10 will apparently have a resolution of 2560x1600, giving it a pixel density of 300ppi, and protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

Inside the device, according to specifications received by Phone Arena, is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with an Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. Running on Android 4.4, it will also have an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing version, Wi-Fi with MIMO, Bluetooth, NFC, and a 9,500mAh battery. It is warned that the specifications could be part of a "rather elaborate hoax," due to its anonymous source.

Though a launch date for the device refresh is still unknown, it could end up appearing on November 1st, a date believed to be the launch time for the Nexus 5 and Android KitKat.
