UK carriers only beginning to make announcements day ahead of launch

The UK branch of Three has announced plans to carry both the iPad Air, launching tomorrow, and the Retina iPad mini, due sometime in November. Data plans will start at £7.50 per month for 1GB of data, and scale up to £25 per month for 15GB. Costs for the iPad Air will be in line with Apple's own, beginning at £499 for a 16GB 3G/4G model. Three's LTE network will only begin rolling out in December.

Aside from Three, EE, O2, and Vodafone are set to be iPad carriers. None of the latter have formally announced their plans for the Air and the Mini, but are already listed as options at Apple's online store.
