Customized Moto X said to reach T-Mobile today, Sprint on 11th
Customized versions of the Moto X could be heading to the other carriers in the near future, according to reports. Leaked images said to be from Sprint allegedly show that the Moto Maker system will be available to customers in the near future, while another rumor claims that T-Mobile will also be receiving access to it soon.
A post by the @evleaks Twitter account claims that T-Mobile customers would get Moto Maker access "on Friday," namely later today. The same account has already released images that claims to show Verizon-branded handsets in a variety of colors, with MotoMaker thought to go live on that carrier from November 11th. This is also the date that Sprint will allegedly gain access, according to a leaked memo received by Android Central.
Moto Maker initially launched exclusively to AT&T in August, with customers initially expected to buy a card for the service through the carrier's retail stores before performing the customization online. Though other carriers have been expected to carry the device on their networks, until now they have only been available in black and white color options.
