Hotspot launches on Friday with LTE Advanced support

Following on from the original Unite, AT&T will be launching a new mobile hotspot later this week, one that takes advantage of the carrier's 4G LTE network. The AT&T Unite Pro offers the ability to connect up to 15 devices simultaneously to the same cellular connection, with its battery able to provide up to 16 hours of use on one charge, as well as being able to top up the battery on mobile devices using its USB port.

On the front is a 2.4-inch touchscreen with an on-screen keyboard that can be used to adjust the network settings, monitor data use, and to list connected devices. Dual-Band Wi-Fi and support for LTE Advanced networks also make an appearance in the portable hotspot.

The Unite Pro hotspot will be going on sale from Friday onwards, priced at $50 with a two-year contract.
