Oppo smartphone with 13MP swivel camera expands to Europe, US

Chinese phone manufacturer Oppo has revealed it will be shipping the N1 to the United States and Europe, starting from December 10th. The smartphone, originally launched in September, offers a unique 13-megapixel camera in a rotatable housing, allowing it to be used on both the front and back of the smartphone, as well as for alternative camera angles.

Using a 5.9-inch 1080p display, the N1 has a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, and options for 16GB and 32GB of storage. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and HSPA connectivity is touted, though there is no word of a possible upgrade to LTE for release, and the 3,160mAh battery is protected by a rear touch panel for gesture control. Users can also choose to have Oppo's ColorOS Android interface or to switch it for CyanogenMod's version of Android instead.

Oppo's Twitter account states that it will cost $599 or 449 euro ($610), but did not reveal if that is for the 16GB of storage or 32GB.
