New Nokia attachment pairs with smartphones for music play
Nokia on Monday unveiled a new accessory for smartphones, the BH-121 Bluetooth Stereo Headset. The BH-121 pairs with smartphones and other Bluetooth-enabled devices to act as a remote control for music playback. The device is available in a range of colors, similar to Nokia's Lumia line of smartphones.
The BH-121 pairs with a smartphone or tablet or other device via NFC. Users simply tap the BH-121 to the desired device, and it begins pairing automatically. It supports multi-point pairing, so more than one device can be saved to its memory for interoperation. For non-NFC phones, the BH-121 can pair when a user simply searches through their Bluetooth settings.
The device measures 39 x 39 x 12 mm, and it comes with a set of noise-blocking in-ear headphones. When paired with a Lumia smartphone, the BH-121 will broadcast its remaining battery life and connectivity status. It supports HFP/HSP and/or A2DP/AVRCP profiles.
The BH-121 will be available starting at €39.
