LG fitness band could be accompanied by smart watch
One of two wearable devices from LG has surfaced, ahead of its expected reveal at CES. The LG Lifeband Touch, previously thought to be called the "G-Health" in an earlier rumor, appears to take much of its design from the Nike Fuelband SE, namely the unassuming black bracelet appearance, though it is thought to have a few notable differences.
The render from the @evleaks Twitter account, along with the Touch aspect of the name, strongly suggests some sort of touchscreen connectivity. The Next Web believes that it has an OLED display, support for both iOS and Android devices, will work with LG's current fitness app, can control music on a paired device, and will include an accelerometer and an altitude meter. Though it bears a passing resemblance to the Smart Activity Tracker, a device revealed at CES 2013, the Lifeband Touch is thought to be a different item.
Though the Lifeband Touch has not been confirmed by the company itself, it does suggest that the other rumored device, a smart watch, could also make an appearance at the same time.
