iLuv introduces SyrenPro wireless, weather-resistant speaker

Audio peripheral manufacturer iLuv Creative Technology announced yesterday its extension of its Syren line of speakers, with the addition of the SyrenPro. Equipped with new features such as 'TrueWireless Stereo,' the SyrenPro allows users to wirelessly pair two SyrenPro units to create a combined stereo sound system. Able to withstand outdoor usage, the SyrenPro has a weather- and UV-resistant body. Its Bluetooth capability includes voice prompts for easy pairing, and SyrenPro's aux-in port allows for connection to devices without Bluetooth.



The SyrenPro holds a four-hour charge during play, and is available in black and white color options. Priced at $150, the SyrenPro is anticipated to be available for purchase later this month.

Roccat announces Kone mice, Kave Headsets, and Ryos keyboard lines

Roccat has announced that it will showcase its latest gaming peripherals at CES next week, featuring new headphones (Kave XTD series), mice (Kone series), and mechanical keyboards (Ryos series).



Roccat's two new Kave XTD gaming headset models, the 5.1 Analog and Stereo, join the 5.1 Digital to complete a full range line-up. The Kave XTD 5.1 Analog features classic 5.1 audio jacks plus a USB connector to power up the in-cable remote, and LED lighting. The Kave XTD Stereo features two powerful driver units, and a detachable noise-cancelling microphone. The Kone mice series introduces the Kone XTD Optical and the Kone Pure Military, with the XTD Optical featuring a new 6,400dpi optical sensor, and the Pure Military including a 5,000dpi optical sensor with TDCU. The Ryos series features two compact, mechanical gaming keyboards, the TKL Pro and TKL. The TKL Pro possesses an MCU that supports elaborate illumination effects, and the TKL does not have backlighting. Roccat will be showcasing its new products in the Venetian Hotel showroom during the CES convention.
