Windows Phone 8 Update 3, Nokia Camera App heading to Lumia devices

Nokia has started offering its Lumia Black update for Lumia devices worldwide, after its initial rollout in the United States. The upgrade, which will take place over the next few weeks, will include a number of improvements including Windows Phone 8 Update 3, App Folders for easier Start screen personalization and grouping of apps, and support for Bluetooth LE.

The Nokia Conversations blog notes that it will also include the Nokia Refocus app to Lumias with 1GB of RAM or more, and the Nokia Camera app that combines Nokia Pro Camera and Smart Camera into one program, and improved imaging algorithms. Nokia Beamer used for sharing documents and other files via on-screen QR codes, will also form part of the update.

The Black update has already started appearing on Lumia 1020 and Lumia 925 devices, while owners of the Lumia 920, 820, 720, 625, 620, and Lumia 520 will receive it in the near future.
