Firmware update version 2.0.3 now available for Canon EOS-1D X camera users

Canon's EOS-1D X DSLR camera has received a firmware update that is now available. Bringing new levels of accuracy and versatility to the EOS-1D camera's AF and exposure systems, more customization options are also available. Improved low-light performance and an expanded minimum shutter speed in auto ISO are included as well.

The update to Version 2.0.3 features initial AF point selection and 61-point auto-selection AF synchronization, as well as AF point switching according to camera orientation. These features and more included in the update can be downloaded for free from Canon.

TrendNet wireless baby monitor offers TV infrared night vision

TrendNet has announced its latest product, the Wireless Baby Monitor, model TV-IP743SIC. The compact camera allows users to open an web browser or its accompanying free app, and view live video on one's mobile device or computer. Offering infrared lighting, the baby monitor provides visibility in complete darkness of up to five meters (16.5 feet). Users can program the camera to email video clops of detected motion or sound activities, and its built-in speaker and microphone offers two-way audio communications.



Available for $110, TrendNet's Wireless Baby Monitor can be purchased in April.
