Chrome for iOS to add malware protection to mobile version

Google has announced its latest update of Chrome for iOS, featuring Safe Browsing malware protection akin to what is available for the desktop application. Chrome can now provide warnings when the user is about to visit a potentially dangerous site.

In addition to the security update, Chrome will introduce a Google Translate service to iOS this week. The update allows users to translate a page written in another language to one's native tongue. Google's Chrome browser app for iOS can be downloaded from iTunes for free.

LG's G Flex available from Sprint store February 7, pre-order begins today

Officially available on February 7, the LG G Flex is priced at $300 with a new two-year service agreement. Those who take advantage of the pre-order period (January 16-31) will receive a Quickwindow Folio Case worth $60 with their purchase.
