Miselu's C.24 iPad music keyboard cover pre-order begins in February
Miselu is due to ship its C.24 music keyboard and cover for iPad in April to those who backed the product during its Kickstarter campaign last summer, with public pre-orders starting in February. Doubling as both a instrumental keyboard as well as a tablet cover, the C.24 consists of a metal enclosure of a comparable size to the iPad. Its magnetic latch offers a smooth cover hinge, and its keyboard component pops out of its frame for use, with each key possessing a pair of opposed magnets to create a feel of weighted resistance.
Utilizing both infrared and optical key-tracking methods, touch data is communicated to the iPad over a Bluetooth Low Energy connection. The C.24 is compatible with any iPad music app that supports Core MIDI, such as GarageBand, Korg's iMS-20 and more. February's pre-order pricing for the C.24 is to be set at $200 per unit.
