Choice of Lumia 520, Lumia 521 when buying Xbox Music Pass subscription

Microsoft is offering a budget Nokia smartphone and anXbox Music Pass subscription from the Microsoft Store for $99, for a limited time. The offer, available in the United States and Puerto Rico, consists of a 12-month subscription to the music service, along with the choice of either a Lumia 520 on AT&T or a Lumia 521 on T-Mobile, as off-contract devices.

Both the Lumia 521 and Lumia 520 are sold for $99 in their own right, and with similar specifications. Each use a 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of storage, use the same 4-inch 800x480 display, and offer a 5-megapixel rear camera. On it's own, the Xbox Music Pass would normally cost $99 for the same 12-month period.

The bundle is available in the Microsoft retail stores and through its website until February 17th. Since Microsoft is close to completing its acquisition of Nokia's Devices and Services division, it is probable that similar deals will be offered in the future.
