Note Pro, smaller Tab Pro device pre-orders open today

Samsung is bringing the range of Pro tablets with 2560x1600 displays it launched at CES last month to the United States, with shipments to begin from February 13. The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, as well as the 8.4-inch and 10.1-inch models in the Galaxy Tab Pro collection, are all available to pre-order through various retailers from today, as well as through Samsung itself, though it appears all the releases will only offer Wi-Fi and not a carrier connection.

The Note Pro 12.2 will be the only tablet offered with two different storage capacity options, with the 32GB model priced at $750, and $850 for the 64GB version. Though losing the S Pen input, the 16GB Tab Pro 10.1 and Tab Pro 8.4 will cost $500 and $400 respectively. A fourth tablet, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, will be made available in March with 32GB of storage and a $650 price tag.

Buyers of all versions will receive "Galaxy Perks," which includes 50GB of Dropbox storage for two years, $25 of Google Play Credit, a three-month trial of Hulu Plus, six months of Cisco WebEx Premium 8, and up to a year of Gogo inflight Internet access. Despite the deal made with Google, Samsung's Magazine UX will still be installed on top of Android 4.4 on the devices.

People looking to get a cellular version of the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will have to wait until later this quarter, with Verizon claiming it is preparing one for sale. The carrier did not reveal an expected release date nor a price.
